Azubuike Flags Off Consolidation Campaign:  Promises NAGAFF Members Capacity Building

As the electioneering process of the Association Of Government Approved Freight Forwarders  (NAGAFF) gears up in the various chapters of the association, the immediate past chairman of Tincan Island chapter, High Chief Azubuike Austin Ekweozor recently flagged off his re-election campaign tagged ‘Consolidation Campaign’   in a grand style and funfair

The event which brought together notable freight forwarders, friends and associates of the chairman saw the High Chief restating his commitment to continue the rebranding process of the chapter which he started in his first tenure.

He also promised to work assiduously with other executives to make sure capacity building for all members of the chapter will be a priority if he is re-elected. “If elected, capacity building will be my first priority, we will make sure members’ availability will be encouraged to take up professional courses in line with cargo clearing and freight forwarding” he stated.

Chief Azubuike while speaking to the Monmouth crowd at the occasion said he was lured into the NAGAFF Tincan chapter politics by the founder of the association, Chief Dr. Boniface Aniebonam and the then president, Chief Eugene Nweke as an administrator to rescue the chapter which was at the verge of total collapsed due to various criminal allegations against some members of the then executive as at then. He pointed out that ever since then he had lived up to expectation by working with his executives in repositioning the chapter to the enviable position it is today.

High chief use the occasion to call on his supporters and those that believe in his consolidation agenda to make sure they register at the registration process is ongoing on at the NAGAFF head quarters to be able to vote for him on the day of the election.

Also speaking at the occasion was the Chairman Tincan chapter of Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agent (ANLCA) Prince Segun Oduntun who made it known that since High Chief Ekweozor became the chairman of NAGAFF Tincan chapter; there has been cordial relationship and peace between his association and NAGAFF. He therefore called on the NAGAFF members to go all out on the Election Day to return the Azubuike so he can continue and finish the good works he and his executives started.
