In a strategic move to enhance the ongoing reforms under the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan (FCSSIP)-25, the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation has reintroduced the Culture Change Song and Video. This was unveiled by Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, mni, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, during a retreat for Federal Permanent Secretaries held in Suleja, Niger State, from September 5th to 7th, 2024

The reintroduction is aimed at driving and accelerating critical reforms within the Nigerian Federal Civil Service, reinforcing a culture that is Efficient, Productive, Incorruptible, and Citizen-Centred (EPIC). Mrs. Walson-Jack emphasized that the song and video will serve as a unifying force among civil servants, inspiring them to embrace professionalism, integrity, and a renewed commitment to public service.

“This Song, a source of pride and inspiration, will serve as a clarion call and rallying point for all Federal Civil Servants. It unites us in our shared mission to drive reforms, boost productivity, and deliver excellent service to Nigerian citizens,” said Mrs. Walson-Jack.

The Culture Change Song and Video are designed to inspire Federal Civil Servants to exhibit courtesy and respect in their daily interactions, embodying the change Nigerians expect from their public institutions. This reintroduction marks the beginning of a culture shift aimed at values reorientation, transparency, and accountability.

This initiative reinforces the administration’s resolve to foster an environment where every civil servant plays a crucial role in promoting integrity, professional excellence, and service delivery that meets the needs of Nigerian citizens.
