GTCO Autism Conference, with a primary focus on “Empowering Voices for Autism.” This extraordinary event, an integral part of the renowned Orange Ribbon Initiative, has become a beacon of autism advocacy and support in Africa. It offers invaluable empowerment and assistance to individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Taking place on July 24th and 25th, the conference will be held at the prestigious Muson Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, providing a platform for experts, caregivers, and individuals on the Autism Spectrum to connect, learn, and share ideas. The agenda features a range of enlightening lectures, thought-provoking panel discussions, and captivating performances, all carefully curated to highlight the diverse talents that flourish within the autism community.
In addition to the conference, GTCO will be offering free one-on-one consultations from July 26th to 29th at the Chapel of Light in Alausa, Ikeja. This invaluable opportunity allows individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families to engage with subject-matter experts, gaining insights into various aspects of ASD, including its nature and management.
Not limiting its impact to Nigeria, GTCO will also extend its activities to Ghana. On the 1st of August, a workshop will be held at the University of Professional Studies in Accra, followed by consultations from August 2nd to 5th at the same venue. This initiative showcases GTCO’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of individuals with autism across borders.
