Insurfeel Initiative to Provide Insurance Coverage for 10 Individuals at 2024 Inspenonline Retirement Summit

The Insurfeel Initiative has unveiled its plan to offer insurance coverage to 10 individuals attending the 2024 Inspenonline Retirement Summit and the Unveiling of Insurfeel Initiative, set to take place on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Radisson Hotel, Ikeja Lagos.

 

Chuks Udo Okonta, the Publisher of Inspenonline, made this announcement, highlighting that the initiative is part of Insurfeel Initiative’s broader agenda to donate one million insurance covers. The coverage will include Uni-personal cover and School Fees Protection Plan for those without insurance at the event.

 

Okonta assured that preparations for the summit are in full swing to ensure its success, with the event scheduled to kick off promptly at 9:00 am. The summit, themed “Promoting Retirement Without Tears Through Insurance and Pension,” aims to redefine retirement lifestyle and provide essential knowledge to aid effective retirement planning.

 

Expressing gratitude to committed attendees, Okonta encouraged those seeking retirement knowledge to attend the event, emphasizing its free access.

 

Prominent figures expected at the summit include members of Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA), Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC), Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), and Pension Desk Officers (PDOs). Others include members of the informal sector, insurance and pension operators, lecturers, students, workers, and retirees.

 

The 2024 Inspenonline Retirement Summit, dubbed the “University of Retirement,” boasts an esteemed faculty, including Fatai Lawal, Chairman of the event and Past President of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).

 

Special guests include Commissioner for Insurance, Sunday Thomas; Director General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom), Mrs. Aisha Dahir-Umar, and other notable industry leaders.

 

Okonta urged individuals and organizations to support the initiative and encouraged the public to embrace the act of donating insurance to their loved ones, emphasizing its cost-effectiveness compared to financial contributions in times of need.
