The Director General of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Segun Ajayi-Kadir,mni “there is no nation on earth that is considered wealthy or developed or prosperous that does not have a vibrant manufacturing sector”. MAN DG, expressed his enthusiasm for the event: “This collaboration with RMRDC is a significant step towards promoting the growth of Nigeria’s manufacturing industry. Our goal is to not only showcase the tremendous strides our manufacturers have made but also to emphasize the importance of research and development in utilizing our nation’s rich raw material resources.”
The Director General of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Professor Hussaini Doko Ibrahim, “To improve capacity utilization, RMRDC through the Nigeria Raw Materials Exhibition (NIRAM Expo) and other programmes, has been promoting new investments in local resources-based industries and encouraging existing industries to source their raw materials from within Nigeria” RMRDC, echoed Mr. Ajayi-Kadir’s sentiments: “Raw materials are the bedrock of any thriving manufacturing sector. By joining forces with MAN, we aim to shed light on the potential of our indigenous resources and encourage their sustainable utilization for economic growth.”
