The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) as artificial person known to law has in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as an obligation, today rolled out cash donations to the following maritime operators/stakeholders:

“Recall that NAGAFF as a nonprofit organization driven by professional and industry passion to undertake effective public policy advocacy gas in line with its obligation and commitment towards ensuring operational efficiency and wellbeing of the port users across the ports as contained in its status book, extends its CSR to fellow stakeholders.
In a statement endorsed and released by Mr Dipo Olayoku, the secretary general of the association at the headquarters, today Monday, April 20, 2020 saying May we re-emphasis, that the fight against Covid-19 should be a collective efforts, and that no stone should be left unturned in this regard.
“While commending the efforts and tenacity of the aforementioned stakeholders under the prevailing circumstances, NAGAFF wishes to reiterate its official position that Forwarders who do have any business in the port are requested to stay at home, while those who have official business engagement in the ports should do so with total adherence to the stipulated precautionary measures by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the directive of the government agencies.
“Accordingly, we do stress that only the living and healthy can carry out business function beyond Covid19 hence the need to keep safe and secured.
