NAICOM Commence Interactive operations to enhance efficient and effective service delivery

The management of National Insurance Commission NAICOM has released adjustment of it operation to inform Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of All Insurance Institutions,

 

The Commission said to enhance efficient and effective service delivery, the operations of the Commission commenced Go-live with effect from Wednesday September 1, 2021.

 

According to circular with Ref. No: NAICOM/TD/P&RD/004 dated August 27, 2021 which was sent and endorsed by L.M Akah, Director (Policy and Regulations) For: Commissioner for Insurance saying The import of this adjustment is that effective from 1″‘ September 2021, NAICOM’s operation will transit from manual to online processing and all operational activities or issues concerning Insurance Institutions that enquires the Commission’s attention, comment and approval will be submitted and process(1 via the NAICOM Licensing System.

Consequently, the circular titled Adjustment Of NAICOM Operation urged all Insurance Institutions are required to align their operations to NAICOM Portal for submission and processing of all requests such as Certificate of Registration/Renewal, approval -in-Principle (AIP), Product Authorization, Micro Insurance, Takaful Insurance, Letter of Request, Financial Statement Approval, Enforcement Actions, Government and Complaint issues etc.

 

Take Notice that there shall be no manual submission of requests/application effective from 1ˢ ᵗ September 2021 except online through the designated Portal.

All enquires   on the adjustment of   NAICOM’s operations should be sent to portalJnaicom.Nov.ng.
