Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Mr. Yakubu Dogara, has acknowledged the receipt of the communication from President Muhammadu Buhari notifying them he has resumed duty.
A statement from Dogara’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity said the letter was delivered to the office of the Speaker, by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Reps), Suleiman Kawu Sumaila.
Welcoming the President on his return, Speaker Dogara reiterated the House of Representatives’ determination and commitment to support the President towards delivering his promises to the Nigerian people.
Senate President Bukola Saraki has also acknowledged receipt of the letter.
