In a proactive move to boost participation in the upcoming 2023 National Insurance Conference, Olorundare Sunday Thomas, the Commissioner for Insurance, led a delegation from the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) in a courtesy visit to Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, the Honourable Minister for Housing and Urban Development.
During this visit, Commissioner Thomas seized the opportunity to brief the Minister on the Commission’s ongoing activities and formally extended an invitation for his physical presence at the National Insurance Conference organized by NAICOM.
In a positive response, the Minister embraced the offer of collaboration from the Commission, particularly in the realm of ensuring compliance with laws related to public buildings and construction sites.
He confirmed his active participation and the involvement of the Ministry of Housing in the conference, which is set to take place from October 22nd to 24th, 2023. This collaboration promises to be mutually beneficial, fostering a stronger link between the insurance industry and housing development.
