During the celebration of International Women’s Day at the NCC Headquarters in Abuja, Dr. Aminu Maida, the EVC/CEO of NCC, emphasized the organization’s commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. He highlighted the importance of empowering and including women, recognizing their immense value in the workplace.

Dr. Maida extended an invitation to the government, corporate Nigeria, and the telecom and ICT industry to join NCC in building and nurturing an ecosystem that promotes talent and skills among women. He emphasized the need for equal opportunities for the growth and advancement of women in these sectors.

 

On this International Women’s Day 2024, let us commit to breaking down barriers and making a tangible difference by inspiring and empowering women to be part of our industry in a way that their contributions to growth and sustainable development of our nation, will become even more remarkable.

The event featured key figures from NCC, including Mrs. Nnena Ukoha, Head of Corporate Communications, Ms. Hafsat Lawal, Head of Human Capital, Engr.
