The activities of some operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have come under attack in the course of effecting the arrest of a suspected drug kingpin.
Accordingly to the sources in the NDLEA that the operatives were at the notorious Pety drug den on Lagos Island to arrest a kingpin of the illicit trade before they were resisted and massively attacked.
The sources further said, it was the notorious drug kingpin who mobilised her men to attack the NDLEA operatives to fend off her arrest.
It is unclear at the time of filing this report if the NDLEA suffererd any serious casualties from the incident.
NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, confirmed the incident.
