The Nigerian Capital Market Institute (NCMI) is currently hosting a Journalist Academy at the Lagos Zonal Office from November 14th to 15th, 2023.  LAMIDO YUGUDA, the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria, was ably represented by Mr. Dayo Obisan, the Executive Commissioner of Operations, welcomed esteemed guests and participants to delve into the intricacies of the capital market.
During the event, Mr. YUGUDA expressed gratitude to journalists for their crucial role in informing, educating, and guiding investors. He underscored their significant contribution to market transparency, accountability, and integrity. The Director-General’s speech highlighted SEC’s recent efforts, including the revision of the Capital Market Master Plan (CMMP), amendment of the Investments and Securities Act (ISA), and human resources restructuring.
