Promasidor Management in Ekiti State for Ikun Dairy Farm Resuscitation

Promasidor Nigeria Limited, makers of a wide range of dairy products including Cowbell milk, Loya milk, Miksi milk and others took its management on a working visit to Ekiti State to hold further discussions on the newly announced partnership between the company and the State Government with regards to backward integration and resuscitation of Ikun Dairy Farm.

Promasidor announced in July it had signed a partnership agreement with the Ekiti State Government as part of its backward integration initiative aimed at creating local sourcing of raw materials for its dairy products through the state-owned Ikun Dairy Farm.

The project will enable Promasidor utilise the facilities at Ikun Dairy Farm to produce milk and other products of nutritional value which helps to enhance human growth.

The visit saw the management of Promasidor Nigeria visit the Government House in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

During the visit, the Managing Director of Promasidor Nigeria Limited, Mr Anders Einarsson, met with the Secretary to Ekiti State Government, a host of Commissioners and top Government officials at the Governor’s Office in Ado-Ekiti.

Ikun Dairy Farm, which covers 1,000 hectares of land, is located in Moba Local Government Area of the state. It was established in the early 1980s as an integrated agro-allied farm to boost the economy of the State.
