The Nigerian stock exchange has continued to appreciate with Monday’s market activities closing bullish.
The all share index closed at 32,371.63 basis points, gaining 1206.75 basis points as against Friday’s closing of 31,371.63 basis points.
The NSE market capitalisation closed at 11.263 trillion Naira, gaining 418 billion Naira when compared to the previous closing of 10.845 trillion Naira.
The NSE PREMIUM INDEX led the indices board to close at 2,268.25 basis points.
NSE Lotus Islamic Index followed right after to close at 2,071.63 basis points.
NSE Industrial Index came third closing at 1,974.02 basis points.
All indices appreciated except the NSE ASeM INDEX which closed flat at 1,195.56 basis points.
44 stocks gained at the close of today’s activities, 13 fell, while others closed flat.
The top gainers for the day are;
GAINERS
MOBIL OIL NIG PLC came tops with a closing price of N319.72 per share, gaining N29.72 or 10.25 per cent.
CONOIL PLC closed at N41.17 per share, gaining N3.82 or 10.23 per cent, while FLOUR MILLS NIG. PLC closed at N25.51 per share, gaining N2.36 or 10.19 per cent.
LOSERS
UNION DICON SALT PLC made a loss of 70kobo or 4.95 per cent, to close at N13.45 per share.
C & I LEASING PLC closed at 63 kobo per share, falling by 3kobo or 4.55 per cent.
JAIZ BANK PLC closed at 87 kobo per share, losing 4 kobo or 4.40 per cent.
