United Capital PLC Raise ₦12.48 bn Capital Through Commercial Paper on FMDQ Exchange

FMDQ Securities Exchange Limited (“FMDQ Exchange” or the “Exchange”) is pleased to announce the admission of the quotation of the United Capital PLC ₦12.48 billion Series 8 Commercial Paper (CP) under its ₦50.00 billion CP Issuance Programme on its platform.

Accordingly to the report, the proceeds from the quotation of this CP, which is co-sponsored by FSDH Capital Limited, UCML Capital PLC and NOVA Merchant Bank Limited also all Registration Member (Quotations) of FMDQ Exchange, will be used by the Issuer to finance short-term working capital requirements.

Corporate institutions have continued to explore alternative financing options by tapping the debt capital market to sustain their business activities and plug capital shortfalls. Following the admission of twenty-one (21) Commercial Papers valued at over ₦128.25 billion thus far in 2022,
